Fraunhofer IST recertified as a Zukunftgeber

The Fraunhofer Institute for Surface Engineering and Thin Films IST has once again been awarded the “Zukunftgeber” employer seal by the Employers' Association for the Braunschweig Region (Arbeitgeberverband, AGV). Following its initial certification in 2022 and its first recertification in 2024, this latest award once again confirms the institute’s high appeal as an employer in the region.

As part of the audit process, key aspects of modern working conditions were once again evaluated – including, among others, personnel development, family-friendliness, digitalization, and the working environment. Fraunhofer IST once again performed impressively in nearly all categories.

This renewed recertification underscores the institute’s commitment to offering its employees attractive, contemporary, and reliable working conditions. At the same time, the process provides valuable impulses for continuously improving existing offerings and adapting them to new requirements.

Fraunhofer IST views this repeated recognition as confirmation of its commitment and as an incentive to continue shaping a modern and responsible work environment in the future.
