You can get hands-on experience, try things out, and help shape the future – without trade fair booths, but with real experiences instead. Treat yourself to a day full of future possibilities, fun, and good conversations. Whether you come with your class or on your own, SHIFT NOW is your space to try things out, ask questions, and find out where your path might lead. Students at the Fraunhofer IST can take their first steps towards a professional career in research, technology or administration during their studies. We offer theses, internships, opportunities for student assistants and are constantly seeking curious and committed students who would like to work with us on sustainable solutions for surfaces and coatings for future-proof products and production systems.

We also offer pupils exciting and extensive opportunities to start a career in the five areas of science, technology, IT, administration and media design. You will be trained on modern machines and installations by our competent trainers or you work in a computerized administration, gain knowledge and skills to state-of-the-art and learn to assert yourself in all fields of your career.
