Hannover Messe 2026
Hannover Messe is the world's most important industrial trade fair and a central platform for innovations along the entire industrial value chain. It covers everything from automation and digitalization to energy technologies and sustainable production. Every year, it brings together international companies, research institutions, politicians, and users to present and discuss future technologies for the manufacturing industry.
Key topics at the trade fair:
- Industrial transformation and digitalization
- Automation, robotics, and intelligent production
- Energy and hydrogen technologies for industry
- Sustainable, climate-neutral, and resource-efficient production
- Industrial IT, artificial intelligence, and networked systems
- Technology transfer between research and industry
In 2026, Fraunhofer IST will be exhibiting at the Hannover Trade Show as part of the Wasserstoff Campus Salzgitter e.V. and the Fraunhofer Center for Energy Storage and Systems ZESS.
The Wasserstoff Campus Salzgitter e.V. will be represented at the Salztgitter AG booth.
Monday, April 20 – Friday, April 24, 2026
You can find us in Hall 12 at Booth E83.
The Wasserstoff Campus Salzgitter e.V., whose head of central office is Fraunhofer IST, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and development of hydrogen technologies. Founded by nine key players from industry, science, and politics, the organization aims to implement hydrogen technologies across the entire value chain—from production to utilization—while taking economic and ecological aspects into account.
Fraunhofer ZESS will be represented at the Hannover Messe as part of the lecture series “INNO-HyBat: Battery and Hydrogen Technologies.”
