On September 16 and 17, 2026, the INNOMAG innovation platform will host MagSense 2026—Magnets, Magnetism, Sensors, and Applications—in Jena for the first time. The conference brings together experts from research and development and provides a platform for discussing current developments across the entire value chain of magnetic sensor systems.

The event is aimed at professionals involved in the development, manufacturing, and application of magnetic sensor systems. The focus is on the interplay between magnets, magnetization, and sensor technology, as well as their significance for innovative applications in fields such as industry, mobility, drive technology, and automation. A technical program featuring keynotes and presentations, along with an accompanying exhibition, will provide insights into current technological developments and applications.

Fraunhofer IST will participate as an exhibitor at MagSense 2026 and showcase its expertise in the fields of simulation and thin-film systems.
