ICCG 2026: International Conference on Coatings on Glass and Plastics

The “International Conference on Coatings on Glass and Plastics” (ICCG 2026) will take place in Berlin from September 15 to 17, 2026. The conference is one of the leading international events for coatings on glass and plastics, bringing together experts from academia, industry, research institutions, equipment manufacturing, and application sectors.

Under the motto “Efficiency in Focus: Unlocking Potentials in Large-Area Coating,” the 2026 conference will focus in particular on large-area coating processes, efficiency improvements, and new applications in the field of large-area optics. The program includes technical presentations, an accompanying exhibition, panel discussions, and various opportunities for professional exchange.

Fraunhofer IST will be represented with two presentations: Stefan Bruns will give a talk titled “Double-Sided Magnetron Sputtering for Advanced Optical Coatings.” Dr. Volker Sittinger will speak on the topic “SALD-PVD Platform for Scalable Electron Contacts in Perovskite/Silicon Solar Cells” and present scalable approaches for electron contacts in perovskite/silicon solar cells.
