EUROGUSS 2026

For the 30th time, EUROGUSS will take place from January 13–15, 2026 in Nuremberg, as the leading international trade fair for die casting, die casting machines, processes, and foundry technology. Industry leaders, decision-makers, and experts will come together to discuss innovations in die casting, machinery, materials, and process technologies, and to expand their networks.

This year’s key topics:

  • Sustainability in die casting and circular economy
  • Mega-/Giga-Casting
  • Digitalization and AI in die casting
  • Innovation in die casting and workforce development

Fraunhofer IST will be present at a joint booth together with Fraunhofer IFAM, showcasing solutions related to aluminum die casting and corresponding thin-film systems for temperature measurement, coatings for aluminum and magnesium die casting tools, as well as sustainability assessments within the Fraunhofer flagship project FutureCarProduction. In addition, Fraunhofer IST will contribute with a session on the topic of FusionCASTING in the scientific program.
