Circularity Days 2026

The Circularity Days 2026 Conference will take place on May 20 and 21, 2026, at the MobileLifeCampus (MLC) in Wolfsburg. The event builds on the successful cooperation between the Future Automotive Production Conference (FAPC) and the Materials Symposium, once again bringing together key players from research and industry. The conference is organized by the Institute for Machine Tools and Manufacturing Technology (IWF), the Institute for Design Technology (IK), and the Fraunhofer Center for Circular Economy for Mobility (CCEM), supported by numerous partner organizations.

Circularity Days focuses on current developments and future prospects for circular, sustainable production. The conference offers comprehensive insight into technological fundamentals, innovative material and manufacturing concepts, and strategic approaches for establishing circular value chains. In addition to presentations by experts, start-ups and new transfer projects will also be presented, showcasing practical solutions and ideas for resource-efficient mobility in the future.

Thematic focal points are:

  • Innovative & Smart Production
  • Life Cycle Engineering
  • AI-based Optimization
  • Factories of the Future
  • Design & Simulation for Circular Components
  • Functional & Innovative Components
  • Sustainable Materials & Surfaces
