Trade fairs and conferences

The Europe Battery Show 2026 will take place from June 9 to 11, 2026, and is one of Europe's leading trade shows for battery technologies, battery systems, and the industrial value chain related to energy storage. The trade show is aimed at an international audience of experts from industry, research and development.

Fraunhofer ZESS will participate in the Europe Battery Show in 2026 and will be represented together with other institutes at the Fraunhofer Battery Alliance stand.

At the Fraunhofer ZESS in Braunschweig, the Fraunhofer Institute for Surface Engineering and Thin Films IST, the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Advanced Materials IFAM, and the Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems IKTS are pooling their expertise to develop sustainable, safe battery and hydrogen technologies. Working closely with the Technical University of Braunschweig and as an associated partner of BLB+, Fraunhofer ZESS is working to advance the market readiness of mobile and stationary energy storage systems and strengthen the technological sovereignty of Germany and Europe.
