Trade fairs and exhibitions

At Automotive Interiors EXPO Europe 2021, exhibitors will show the latest technologies and services in vehicle interiors. The fair invites visitors to learn about new interior materials, concepts, innovative products and suppliers. Materials and surfaces will be an important topic.

Developing new technologies is about improving the quality, reliability, durability and safety of products. The exhibits that will be shown at the fair cover the product areas of decorative textiles, adhesive films, instrument panels and screens. The trade fair is therefore of high importance for interior designers and buyers as well as component manufacturers and suppliers from the automotive industry.

In the ”futureFlexPro” project the Fraunhofer Institutes IST, IWU, IAO, WKI and IFAM have set themselves the goal of developing modularizable solutions for sustainable, functionally integrated components of future vehicle generations. The focus lies on the holistic circular economy as well as a consistent economic, ecological and technological evaluation in the context of market and sales scenarios.

Together with the Fraunhofer Institutes WKI and IAO, we will be presenting results from the ”Future Interior” sub-project, which presents a concept for sustainable, modular and functionally integrated interior components using an example component. Efficient and sustainable construction methods for autonomous vehicles with changing application scenarios are addressed.
