The conference is an industry meeting place for experts in energy and resource efficiency around industrial climate protection. In their function as conference chairs and expert advisors, Prof. Dr. Christoph Herrmann, Head of the Fraunhofer IST and the Institute for Machine Tools and Manufacturing Technology at the Technische Universität Braunschweig, and Prof. Dr. Alexander Sauer, Head of the Institute for Energy Efficiency in Production at the University of Stuttgart, will give the opening lecture.
