Hagener Symposium on powder metallurgy – Key technology for innovative system solutions

Stadthalle Hagen

The Hagen Symposium on powder metallurgy serves as a forum to discuss the future requirements for current and future powder metallurgy products and to present the opportunities that powder metallurgy has to offer.

The symposium is aimed at scientists and students from physics, chemistry, mechanical engineering, aerospace, electrical engineering, process engineering and materials engineering.

At this year's 38th Hagen Symposium the Fraunhofer IST participates with a lecture at the program of the conference on powder metallurgy. Sabrina Zellmer, Head of the Department Process and Manufacturing Technology Process Technology and Production Engineering of the Fraunhofer IST in the Fraunhofer Project Center for Energy Storage and Systems ZESS, together with Prof. Dr. Arno Kwade, Head of the Institute for Particle Technology iPAT of the TU Braunschweig and Scientific Director of the Battery LabFactory Braunschweig will present research results on scalable production processes for current and future battery technologies.
