17th Lower Saxony Summer School 2026 "Wasserstoff und Derivate" (engl. "Hydrogen and Derivatives")
The 17th Lower Saxony Summer School “Hydrogen and Derivatives” offers students, doctoral candidates, recent graduates, and young professionals the opportunity to deepen their expertise in hydrogen technologies, establish valuable contacts with experts from academia and industry, and explore career prospects in the hydrogen economy.
The event focuses on green hydrogen and its derivatives as key building blocks of a climate-neutral energy supply. Participants will gain comprehensive insight into the entire hydrogen cycle, from production through transport and storage to industrial applications and regulatory frameworks. In addition to specialized presentations from academia and industry, the program includes field trips and numerous networking opportunities.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Sabrina Zellmer, Deputy Director of the Fraunhofer IST, and Marcus Gapinski will contribute their expertise on sustainable battery and hydrogen systems to the program.
